Dolores and Chris Kangas started catering in the 1980's and the family has continued to build on their legacy. Kangas' Cafe and Catering opened on September 15, 2008 in their current location in the Jutila Center for Global Design and Business,200 Michigan Street Suite 313, Hancock, MI.
The business is family owned and operated. They are committed to fresh, high quality, made from scratch cuisine.
In 2010, their eldest son Executive Chef Kevin Kangas joined the family business. Chef Kevin Kangas brings creative and fresh flair from Cinncinati, Ohio. His experience in large catering events, unique food and his fruit carvings bring the big city experience to the Copper Country.
